Iranian TV Presents Nuclear Activities "for Peaceful Purposes" - Nuclear Engineered Anti-Cancer Yellow Tomatoes

Following are excerpts from a program on nuclear-produced tomatoes in Iran, which aired on the Iranian News Channel on May 30, 2006.

Reporter: Kish Center produces yellow tomatoes by means of nuclear technology.

Kish Center worker: This is the agricultural and biological research center of Kish Island. You are witnessing another example of the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

These yellow tomatoes that you see here have undergone genetic mutation, using ultraviolet radiation - UVB. Instead of red pigment, they contain yellow pigment, or carotene, which is an anti-cancer substance.
