Egyptian Cleric Muhammad Abd Al-Maqsoud in Support of Bin Laden: He Was Falsely Accused of 9/11

Following are excerpts from an interview with Egyptian cleric Muhammad Abd Al-Maqsoud, which aired on Al-Nas TV on May 2, 2011.

Muhammad Abd Al-Maqsoud: [Bin Laden] was labeled a "terrorist," even though he made great strides in the Jihad against the Soviet enemy in Afghanistan, before the collapse of the USSR.

He was present in Bosnia Herzegovina. He was there wherever Muslims were attacked. This is what bothers many people.

Anyone who confronts falsehood is labeled a "terrorist." That man was a mujahid for the sake of Allah, and he was falsely accused of bombing the World Trade Center, although books – and even a film – published in America these days blames the Americans – and the Zionist lobby that stands behind them – of planning this event, as a preliminary measure for the war against Iraq.
