Following are excerpts from a speech delivered by Dr.
Walid Al-Rashudi, head of the Department of Islamic Studies at King Saud
University, Saudi Arabia, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on February 29,
2008.
Walid Al-Rashudi: One of the important things
that we must tell people is that what is going on in Palestine today is a
real holocaust. This is the real holocaust. A holocaust is not the burning
of 50-60 Jews in Germany or Switzerland, but the Jews continue to call it
the Holocaust. In case you don't know, let me tell you that more than 90%
of the Muslims in the world do not know that the Jews receive reparations
from Germany and Switzerland for the so-called Holocaust affair. We
believe that there was indeed a holocaust, but how many died? 50-60
people? Afterwards, they used it to blackmail these two countries.
So what are we supposed to say in the face of the Gaza holocaust? What compensation will satisfy us? By Allah, we will not be satisfied even if all the Jews are killed.

Following are excerpts from an interview with
Palestinian cleric Issa Badwan, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on February 6,
2008.
Issa Badwan: Someone who is well known and
whom I trust - there is no need to mention his name - told me that
four years ago, when he was driving his car, he saw an old woman, who
stopped him and asked him to take her to hospital, so she could pick up
her daughter, who had just given birth. He did her a favor and took her
there, and waited for an hour at the entrance. The woman came out, with
her daughter and grandson, and when they got into the car, the baby
started talking, and said: "Peace and Allah's mercy upon you." They
greeted him back.
Interviewer: The newborn baby?
Issa Badwan: Yes, the baby. The baby said... This is what the man told me, and we reported this to Sheik Nizar and to the Islamic Scholars Association... The newborn baby said: "I am the man who will be killed [sic] by the Antichrist, who will not rule over anyone again." According to the Prophet's hadith, this man [the Mahdi] would be 18-20 years old. These are good tidings.
Of course, the coming of the Antichrist will be preceded by the conquests of Rome in Italy, and Constantinople, like the Prophet told us. These places will be conquered only by the righteous Mahdi. The Mahdi is from Palestine, as conveyed by Mu'adh bin Jabal, Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas, and Abdullah bin Mas'ud, who were all great imams and scholars.
Interviewer: Is anyone following what’s going on with this child?
Issa Badwan: Yes, now his identity is known, and the brothers follow and take good care of him. I would like to convey to the people, as well as to the scholars, that these are times of victory, with the grace of Allah, that the promised Mahdi lives among us, that the people of Palestine will be the standard bearers, who will carry this religion forth and spread its guidance and light.

the pilgrims teach us how fathers should sacrifice their sons by
encouraging them to wage Jihad for the sake of Allah. They also teach us
how young people should sacrifice themselves. Our forefather Ismail, who
was also a prophet, said: "Oh father, do what you are commanded," and he
sacrificed himself. The holiday and the offerings remind us of the need
for fathers to sacrifice their sons and the need for sons to sacrifice

Prophet made his nocturnal journey - the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Yes, my
beloved brothers, as you know today, and as you have known yesterday and
the day before, the Al-Aqsa Mosque has fallen into oppressing and
malicious hands, the hands of those who know nothing but injustice. But
let me tell you how the Al-Aqsa Mosque will be returned, how we shall
rescue it from the shackles of the occupation, from the shackles of the
Zionist entity. Will it be through conferences? No, not through
conferences, but by means of force, because the Zionist entity, your
enemy, the enemy of Allah, the enemy of Islam, knows nothing but injustice
and the killing of Palestinians, the persevering people on the frontline.
Indeed, the [mosque] will be returned only by means of force. In 1917, the
Balfour Declaration was issued. Balfour decided on the cleansing of the
Al-Aqsa Mosque. But look what the Zionist enemy has done, look what Israel
and America have done. Look what the allies of Israel and America have
done. They have dug tunnels underneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but the sheiks
and mujahideen of the Al-Aqsa Mosque have exposed these tunnels and called
upon the Palestinian people: "Look what has happened, look what has
happened." These calls have gone unheeded, my beloved brothers. But is it
too late? No, it is not too late. If we all unite, the Al-Aqsa Mosque will
not remain in the hands of the Zionist enemy, it will not remain in the
hands of your enemy, despite all their conspiracies against the
Palestinian people.

Following are excerpts from a public address delivered
by Ahmad Bahr, speaker of Palestinian Legislative Council, which aired on
Al-Aqsa TV on August 21, 2007:
Ahmad Bahr:
Jerusalem, which was first conquered by Omar and then liberated by
Saladin, was lost by the Muslims, who strayed from the path of Allah. This
was the reason that the brothers of apes and pigs had the audacity to
defile and occupy it, and then to burn its pulpit, in complete disregard
of everyone.

The liberation of Jerusalem will not be achieved by means of glittering slogans, cheap arrogance, and degrading concessions. It will be achieved by realizing the divine path in the souls of the Muslims, and by raising the generation of the coming victory to lead the battle against the brothers of apes and pigs. By Allah, Jerusalem will be restored only through Jihad. The foundations of the monstrous entity will be shaken only by the love of martyrdom for the sake of Allah. By Allah, even if all Palestinians die for the sake of Jerusalem and Palestine, and if they all attain the honor of martyrdom for the sake of Allah, this would be a small and cheap sacrifice for the sake of Jerusalem.
